Paul Hollywood hints at return of Bake Off as he expresses surprise at host changes


Paul Hollywood has hinted that The Great British Bake Off could still return in August as planned despite filming delayed by the coronavirus lockout.

The 54-year-old baker and show judge said the series could be returned quickly if restrictions are lifted in the coming weeks.

Channel 4 was scheduled to start recording the 11th series in the spring, with Matt Lucas replacing Sandi Toksvig as co-host of the show alongside Noel Fielding.

However, the recording was interrupted until the broadcaster deemed it safe to continue.
