The retired painter and decorator was found on his bed, while his wife had injuries to the neck and head.

An open investigation found that Elsie’s injuries were “not self-inflicted” with cops looking for no one else related to the horror.

A post mortem was unable to determine how Alan died, while the cause of death for Elsie was stabbed in the head and neck.

The two inquiries were opened and adjourned until a date to be fixed.

FEARS RELATED TO CORONAVIRUS

Stunned neighbors revealed how Alan had spoken of his fears of foreclosure – including not being able to go to stores and out of food stores amidst panic purchases.

He was also said to have been concerned about receiving his medication according to strict guidelines.

Neighbor Dennis Kingsley, 76, said last week, “It was a lovely couple who had been here for ages. I saw them last Monday when they were going out in the stores and I said “hello”, but I did not see them come back.

“I had heard that they were afraid of getting what they wanted in stores because of the sales. They were never used to having food delivered to them, so they had to go out and get the things they needed.

“It would have been difficult for them.

“I also heard that he was afraid to get his tablets. I know he had an illness. This whole coronavirus story could easily have pushed him to the limit.

“But we just don’t know for sure what happened. The police didn’t tell us anything. “

TRAGIC DEATHS

Britain has seen a wave of murder-suicides reported since the coronavirus lockout two weeks ago.

Kelly Fitzgibbons, 40, Robert Needham, 42, and their daughters Ava, four, and Lexi, two, were found dead at their home in Woodmancote, West Sussex, last Sunday.

The manufacturer, Mr. Needham, allegedly ransacked the firearms after being stressed by cash worries related to coronaviruses.

He is believed to have shot his children and his partner in their bed, then killed the family dog before returning the gun to him in the upstairs bedroom.

A mother and daughter were stabbed to death in Hemel Hempstead on Sunday before a father’s body was found in a house fire.

Gary Walker, 57, died in the fire, with his wife Caroline, 50, and his 24-year-old daughter, Katie, who died from stab wounds.

This comes after a senior government adviser warned that the foreclosure will cause more harm than the coronavirus as unemployment, domestic violence and mental illness pile up under drastic measures.
