Nursing home residents, families and workers: how is the coronavirus crisis affecting you?


Nursing homes and long-term care facilities for the elderly across the country have been hit hard by the coronavirus crisis. The virus has sickened and killed thousands of residents and staff at these facilities. At least 43 deaths have been linked to an epidemic at the Life Care nursing center in Kirkland, Washington. And at least 35 people have died from the virus at Canterbury Rehabilitation & Healthcare Center, a nursing home in Richmond, Virginia.

We want to speak to nursing homes and long term care workers, residents and family members across the country who can help us monitor what is going on in these vulnerable communities.
