Northern Michigan health services requiring screenings and social distancing in open businesses


Two northern Michigan health departments issue emergency orders to promote testing and social isolation.

District No. 4 health department and northwest Michigan health department require workers to be screened for COVID-19 symptoms in businesses and open operations.

They also oblige companies to regulate social distancing for customers and staff.

This takes effect Monday at noon for the counties of Antrim, Alpena, Charlevoix, Cheboygan, Emmet, Montmorency, Otsego and Presque Isle.
