CEO of Moses Taylor Hospital in Scranton speaks after publication of Washington Post report accusing hospital of risking COVID-19 patients

SCRANTON, Pennsylvania – CEO of Moses Taylor’s Scranton Hospital speaks after Washington Post report accused hospital of risking cancer patients, babies and staff with COVID-19 .

The Washington Post article quotes Moses Taylor workers as saying that they did not have enough personal protective equipment to keep themselves or their patients safe.

CEO Michael Brown responded to Newswatch 16 in a statement saying, “The health and safety of each of our employees is extremely important to us. We work day and night to protect our team. “

Brown also says that Moses Taylor follows guidelines established by the Centers for Disease Control and the Pennsylvania Department of Health to protect their employees and patients.
