A total of 41 COVID-19 deaths have been reported by NHS England at Lister Hospital in Stevenage.
The East and North Hertfordshire NHS Trust said on Sunday that two patients died between the ages of 70 and 80 and on Saturday five patients died between the ages of 52 and 85. All of them had underlying health problems.
Nick Carver, Managing Director of East and North Hertfordshire NHS Trust, said: “Our thoughts and condolences remain with the families and loved ones of the patients during these difficult times. “
There have been 6,159 COVID-19 deaths in the UK, including 82 in Hertfordshire, which also includes the West Hertfordshire NHS Trust and the Hertfordshire Community NHS Trust.
Due to a delay in communicating some of these data, the total number of deaths may be out of date.
