MONTREAL –
Filmmaker Matthew Smith released a video called “Montreal together” to help other Montrealers practice physical distance at home in the light of the COVID-19 pandemic.

“I made this video with only one wish in mind. To inspire the city of Montreal and remind everyone that we’re together, one for the other, “wrote Matthew Smith in an online article. “We will beat this. And when we do, we will come back stronger than ever. “

Showcasing solidarity shows of the city and empty, haunting streets, the short video garnered more than 40,000 views online in less than 24 hours.
