Metro Vancouver teen television star dies suddenly


Family and friends mourn the loss of a son and a talented child actor who died suddenly on Thursday.

Logan Williams, 16, grew up in Coquitlam, attended Hope Lutheran School and Terry Fox High School in Port Coquitlam. He is best known for playing young Barry Allen on the popular TV show. The flash.

He also appeared in When the heart calls you with Lori Loughlin, as well as Supernatural and Whispers, according to her mother Marlyse Williams, who told The Tri-City News that the family was “absolutely devastated” by her death.

The grief adds to the fact that she cannot cry for her son with his family because of the physical restrictions of COVID-19. With her support network only allowed to contact her by phone, social media, and email, Williams is alone in mourning.

“I can’t hug my parents who lost their only grandchild,” said Williams.

“It’s difficult,” she added, noting that her young son was on his way to becoming a well-known actor, having won the award for best actor and a nomination as best newcomer at the UBCP / ACTRA in 2015.

“With his talent and gorgeous look, Logan had the potential to be a huge star,” said Williams.

In addition to playing, Williams played soccer and guitar, and enjoyed rap music.

Friends on Facebook remember him “with a sweet and very loving and kind soul.”

He is survived by his mother, his father Clive, his grandparents and his aunts and uncles.
