Gomes is one of the many stars that United are trying to keep the club under a new term.
His current contract expires this summer and Chelsea still hopes to persuade the midfielder to move to Stamford Bridge.
United has successfully renewed contracts for academy stars Tahith Chong and Brandon Williams and has entered into talks with Gomes.
And it looks like the 19-year-old is ready to dedicate his future to the Red Devils after opening up to his career ambitions.
Speaking to United teammate Andreas Pereira on Google Hangout, Chong said, “I have seen him over the years coming from the academy and being at United all my career.
“This is what I want to do: win trophies for the club. “
Gomes has only made six appearances for the United senior team this season, but the club is ready to offer him a new contract worth £ 30,000 a week.
It’s the same amount Chong now earns after the Dutchman turned down interest from Inter Milan, Juventus and Barcelona to stay at United.
Gomes was thought to be reluctant to sign a new contract due to concerns about normal playing time.
But boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has revealed he has big plans for the pair in the future.
Solskjaer said last month, “The boys have a great attitude.
“They are first class boys and we are doing what we can to keep them because in a few years we will see them being very, very good players. “
Pereira Academy graduates and Jesse Lingard could, however, leave the United exit this summer, after both were linked to moves elsewhere.
The duo are increasingly on the sidelines since the arrival of Bruno Fernandes and the return to form of Scott McTominay.
Lingard’s decision to team up with super agent Mino Raiola is an apparent sign of his intention to move forward, as Roma and Atletico Madrid are interested in his signing.
Pereira however stressed his intention to stay and fight for his place.

He said on the club’s official website, “Even when I came to United at such a young age, going to United is, of course, a huge club, but I know they are ready to give young people a chance. .
“This is what happened to me. Ole knows that we will always be there for him.
“The young players give our faith and do everything to protect him, because he trusts us.
“I am very honored and that is why, too, I want to stay at United. I want to fight for him, win matches and win trophies. “
