Mainland China reports 99 new cases of coronavirus, a jump from the previous day

SHANGHAI (Reuters) – Mainland China reported 99 new confirmed cases of coronavirus on April 11, including 97 involving overseas travelers, up from 46 total a day earlier, the National Health Commission said on Sunday. China.

The commission said in a statement that 63 new cases of asymptomatic coronavirus were reported on April 11, compared to 34 the day before.

The count of infections in mainland China now stands at 82,052, while the death toll stands at 3,339.
