London Coronavirus: London hospitals where 201 more people died from Covid-19

In the latest figures published by the NHS England, 201 other people who tested positive for the coronavirus unfortunately died in hospitals in London.

The announcement was made around 2 p.m. Wednesday, April 8, and brings the total number of confirmed deaths in London to 1907.

These latest figures are those made available to the NHS England between 5 p.m. Monday April 6 and 5 p.m. Tuesday April 7.

This does not mean that the 201 patients died during this 24-hour period, and deaths may have occurred in the preceding days or weeks.

In England alone, 828 additional deaths were announced on Wednesday.

In a statement, a spokesperson for NHS England said: “Another 828 people who tested positive for the coronavirus (Covid-19) died, bringing the total number of confirmed deaths in English hospitals to 6,483.

“The patients were between 22 and 103 years old. 46 of 828 patients (aged 35 to 96) had no known underlying medical condition.

“Their families have been informed. “

At 5 p.m. on April 7, of the people hospitalized in the UK who tested positive for the coronavirus, 7,097 unfortunately died – an increase of 938 from the previous day.

As of April 9, April 8, 282,074 tests had been completed, including 14,682 on April 7.

232,708 people were tested, including 60,733 positive.
