Lying viewers finally discovered that Laura Nielson was Andrew Earlham’s killer in tonight’s exciting series two finale.

Earlham’s former boyfriend Oliver Graham, whom he blackmailed to charge Laura, was believed to be the culprit after being charged with murder.

But in shock, DI Karen Renton told Laura that she knew she was the one who killed Andrew.

Flashbacks showed that Andrew and Oliver tried to get Laura in place by drugging her water and then stealing her car.

But the plan failed when Laura, who was apparently unconscious, stood up and started to fight her rapist with a knife.

Laura turned out to be the killer

She cut Andrew’s throat

After a fight in the boathouse, Andrew took the knife and chased Laura through the misty swamps until she hid under a bridge.

The couple then struggled in the mud in a dramatic fight, but Laura managed to grab the knife and cut their throat.

Andrew then collapsed in the water and his lifeless body floated as Laura fled.

The pair wrestled in the boathouse

Laura told DI Renton that she has no evidence, but sometimes bad things happen and you have to deal with them from time to time. “

She added, “We have to go on, try to leave the darkness behind and remember all the good things. That there is a future for all of us, even if the bad things may seem.

“We have to try, right? Try to find hope somewhere in the whole mess. I’ve had enough nightmares. “

DI Renton knew she was lying

Laura practically confessed to the murder

Disgruntled viewers of Liar went to Twitter after finding out the identity of the killer.

One viewer said, “I can’t believe I watched 6 hours … SIX hours of that for the killer to be Laura Neilson, the person who was charged in the trailers before the program even started! “

“So, after all, it was her in the first place and I don’t care! They really should have stopped after the brilliant 1st series !! This 2nd series was not necessary … Unfortunately, it was quite long and boring, “added another.

A third said, “6 episodes. 6 hours of completely useless flashbacks, useless plots, random suspects thrown into the frame. All that to be Laura…. what a waste of time! “

“I don’t know what I find most incredible about #liar, it was laura all the time or people mixing outside,” said a fourth.

Andrew was dead

However, some viewers praised the show for a brilliant ending.

One fan said, “OMG incredible ending. Amazing series 2. Really well written »

“The way it closed the loop with Laura & Andrew with Laura getting her own justice,” added another.
