The latest figures from NHS England show five other deaths confirmed in the past 24 hours for the Lancashire Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust, which runs the Royal Preston Hospital.

There have now been more than 180 dead in Lancashire.

The update includes revised numbers for the past few days, which are adjusted as new test results come back, which means that some of the most recently recorded deaths may have occurred several days ago.
