Game of Thrones Star Kristofer Hivju said on Wednesday that he was “fully recovered” after being tested positive for the coronavirus (COVID-19) last month.
The actor shared the good news on his social media after being quarantined for “several weeks”. In an Instagram post, Hivju shared a photo of him and his wife, who he said was most likely infected with the virus after coming into contact with him.
“We are fully recovered and healthy after being infected with Cororonavirus, and most likely my wife @grymolvaerhivju After several weeks of quarantine in an inn, and a few others inside after being released from all symptoms, we are finally safe and sound, “he said.
Hivju then expressed his gratitude for having so far endured only “mild symptoms”.
He added, “We send our love and thoughts to everyone who has been hit much harder by the virus, and to those who have lost their loved ones to Cornonavirus. Thank you for all your support, and don’t forget to stay alert and keep your distance, wash your hands, and most importantly, take care of each other during this strange time. Lots of love from us. “
Hivju is known for playing the character Tormund on the old HBO series. He went to Instagram last month to share his diagnosis with his followers and explained that he was quarantining himself in Norway with his family.
The diagnosis came shortly after the cast of the actor in season two of Netflix The witcher.
