She gave an emotional update to Good Morning Britain co-star Ben Shephard to read today.
Ben told viewers, “I’m afraid this is going to be an excruciatingly worrying time.
“The NHS team that worked on him has been extraordinary and I know it is only their professionalism, dedication and bravery that have kept Derek with us so far. Thanks to you alone does not seem enough. “
Last night, Kate broke her silence on social networks to thank the NHS.
Sharing a special moment video outside her home, Kate said, “The neighbors have added some sparkle to tonight’s #clapforcarers. Thank you thank you – you are all amazing. “
Fans rushed to send their support to the television personality, writing, “I hope your husband gets better kate. “
Someone added, “I hope your husband is fine. “
Another said, “I hope your husband is on the mend.”
One fan wished, “I really hope your husband improves! Xx. “
Kate’s husband Derek was taken to hospital last week, where he tested positive for coronavirus.
GMB host “worried sick” about 52-year-old former labor advisor Derek.
A source revealed at the time: “It is a dire situation for Kate who is sick with concern for Derek’s health.
“He is in intensive care against the coronavirus and for obvious reasons, she is out of it.
“Kate also has symptoms, but they are mild, so she isolates herself at home with the children.
