On Tuesday, John Stamos surprised Full House fans, revealing that he had the iconic sofa from his 1980s and 1990s sitcom in his house … and that he was using it as a baby gate.

Stamos, 56, went to Instagram on Tuesday, revealing that the blue and yellow sofa was blocking a stairwell from his son William ‘Billy’ Christopher.

The photo also received several responses from Stamos fans, and many of his Full House casting mates like Bob Saget, Candace Cameron Bure, and Jodie Sweetin.

The sofa was an integral part of the Tanner house from the original sitcom Full House, which lasted eight seasons between 1987 and 1995.
