Joe Burrow is the number one choice of consensus in the 2020 NFL Draft, but the Heisman Trophy winner assumes nothing.
“I have looked at the draft enough years to know that crazy things have happened”, Burrow told Mike Florio of Pro Football Talk on Monday evening. ” I saw people walking in front of the camera, then the camera stays in their faces and all that I keep everything on the table. Honestly, I expect to be # 1, but I’m not positive about it. ”
The Cincinnati Bengals are positioned at No. 1 after finishing 2019 at 2-14.
The last quarterback to make it to Cincinnati in the first round was Carson Palmer in 2003. He became Pro Bowler three times with the Bengals, Oakland Raiders and Arizona Cardinals for 14 years in the league.
