With reports that many NBA players have been unable to stay in basketball form during their 40s, Butler is making sure this is not the case for his teammates.
“Two days ago I received a big box, opened it and it was Jimmy’s basketball hoop,” said Goran Dragic on Instagram Live Sunday. “My first hoop [that I have] is for children. So basically, it wasn’t a real hoop for me. Yesterday [Saturday] I gathered all these pieces and finally I did. I’ve already made some plans to take advantage of it. Jimmy, thank you brother. I appreciate it. “
The league has yet to set a return date for the 2019-20 season. Reports have revealed that coaches expect players to need at least 30 days of training before the playoffs begin.
Commissioner Adam Silver made his last update on the future of the season on Friday, saying he “is not ready to set a date for how long we can wait before we can no longer continue the season . Everything is on the table, including potentially delaying the start of next season. We are unable to make decisions [about the status of this season] and we don’t know when we will be. We still don’t have enough information to make a decision. “
