The Denver Broncos could have picked up one of the best offensive playmakers in college football in the 2020 NFL first round draft on Thursday.
Woody paige of Colorado Springs Gazette He was asked what he thought the AFC West team would do with overall choice # 15, and he cited sources who said Denver could trade up to choices # 8 or 10 for spot Alabama catcher Jerry Jeudy.
Denver could use the depth of the wide receiver.
Emmanuel Sanders was second behind Courtland Sutton received yards at the Broncos last year and adapted for them in just seven games before switching to the San Francisco 49ers. Sutton is a game-changing presence that totaled 1,112 yards in 2019, but he will face double teams throughout the 2020 campaign if there are no more coins around him.
Jeudy is someone who could thrive on cover while opponents focus on Sutton.
He finished the 2018 Alabama campaign with 68 catches for 1,315 yards and 14 touchdowns before posting 77 catches for 1,163 yards and 10 touchdowns in 2019. He did all of this by playing in a charged attack with Najee Harris in the backfield and Henry Ruggs III, Devonta Smith and Jaylen Waddle to the wide receiver.
Whitener report Matt miller listed Jeudy like n ° 5 of the general classification of the repechage on its last big table and the receiver n ° 1 wide.
The Broncos will surely have to go up to select him, but there is a lot of depth in the position if they choose to go elsewhere. Of Miller’s top 50 players, 10 of them are wide receivers.
Jeudy may be the best in the group, but those waiting to take the stand will likely add a game-changing presence.
