- Jennifer Lopez showed off her abs in a sports bra and leggings outfit in Florida.
- She was seen leaving a closed gymnasium which she had probably rented for private use.
- J.Lo’s ab workouts are intense (but achievable) and she sticks to a healthy diet.
Jennifer Lopez, 50, doesn’t slow down with her workouts. The singer / dancer / movie star was spotted on Wednesday in front of a Florida gymnasium with her abs.
In the photo, obtained by Women’s health, J.Lo is walking outside a closed gymnasium (a sign in the background reads, “The gymnasium is not open. Stay at home and stay safe.”). So she and her fiancé Alex Rodriguez-spotted in another photo obtained by People, probably paid for the privilege of sweating in an old public space. They huddled in a private training session before Florida governor Ron DeSantis issued a 30-day statewide home stay order to slow the spread of the new coronavirus.
J.Lo and A-Rod have been locked up in Miami for a while now, where they have distanced themselves from their family at home. A-Rod shared all kinds of videos and photos of the couple and their children:
But back to those abs… in the photo, J.Lo is wearing a red sports bra and leggings with bandana print, and it is impossible to miss the fact that his abs are ridiculously diverted. There is a reason for this: J. Lo goes hard at the gym and now at home he rarely takes a day off.
In 2019, his coach Dodd Romero said O, Oprah magazine that J.Lo does a super-intense ab training on reg. His training consists of a set of 50 suspended ab elevations followed by 50 rope crunches and 50 tilted sit-ups with a 45-pound plate. She goes on with another series of 35 pieces each, followed by a third series of 21 pieces each. Oh, and she doesn’t pause in between. (Phew!)
J.Lo is also super strict with her diet (remember the 10-day sugar-free and carbohydrate-free challenge she had on her way back when?). She abstains from caffeine and alcohol and tries to avoid processed foods as much as possible. It is rich in protein, regularly filling up with egg whites, white meat turkey, chicken breast, grass-fed beef and salmon or sea bass. It even slips protein into any snack, like smoothies or pancakes made with protein powder.
So, yes, she didn’t have those abs by accident.
