Jamie Carragher Names Liverpool Favorite Player But Highlights Another Who Is “Best”

Former Liverpool defender Jamie Carragher has made his verdict on his favorite Reds player, left winger Sadio Mane, having turned out to be the choice of sports specialist Sky.

Since his arrival at Anfield from Southampton in June 2016, the Senegalese international has continued to grow stronger, officially cementing himself as one of the best players in the Premier League.

Mane’s qualities were further developed with the help of Roberto Firmino and Mohamed Salah by his side in what many describe as the three most powerful outposts in world football.

But while Salah and Firmino have played a crucial role in the success of the Reds in recent seasons, it was Mane, who had scored 14 Premier League goals this season before his suspension due to the coronavirus, who was named favorite player for Carragher in Liverpool.

Participating in a question and answer session on Instagram, Carragher, who retired from playing in 2013, said, “Salah or Mane? I’m a Mane man.

“I’m a big fan of Mane. He’s my favorite Liverpool player. “

While the former Reds central defenseman has chosen to choose Mane as his favorite player from Jurgen Klopp’s current selection of players, he has chosen another Reds star who he believes is the club’s best player.

“I think Virgil is the best player in Liverpool, but Mane is my favorite,” added Carragher.
