JADON SANCHO is “excited” to move to Manchester United after being promised that he will be the featured man at Old Trafford – even if the trophies are not immediately guaranteed.
German journalist Raphael Honigstein said he heard the idea of going to Old Trafford was “very attractive” to British star Sancho.
Sancho, 20, has been the subject of transfer speculation throughout the season, with Man Utd joined by Chelsea in the £ 100m Borussia Dortmund winger race.
But while the Blues’ form has been uneven, Sancho will have been supported by United’s form rise in recent times, coinciding with the arrival of Bruno Fernandes.
Before a crossroads in his career this summer, Honigstein revealed that Old Trafford could be the perfect place for the young hopefuls of Manchester City youth.

Honigstein said, “Manchester United cannot promise titles to [Jadon] Sancho right away.
“But they can promise him to be the main star of a new team that is emerging.
“From what I’ve been told, he likes it a lot. “
Dortmund has given Man Utd the green light to sign Sancho in recent weeks.
However, much will depend on what will happen at Old Trafford if and when the 2019-20 season resumes.
United currently ranks fifth in the Premier League with 45 points – 37 staggering drifts from league leaders and Liverpool’s fiercest rivals.
But with its City neighbors banned from the Champions League for two years for financial fair play offenses, fifth place would be enough to qualify for the European elite competition.
Sancho is thought to be desperate to stay at a Champions League club – and failure to qualify could be a sign of Man Utd’s hope of signing the Three Lions wiz.
It would be a boost for Chelsea and Liverpool, who also expressed interest in the Dortmund star.
