INEOS opens a hand disinfection facility in France and plans another

LONDON (CIHI) – INEOS has opened its third
European facility for the production of hand sanitizer
Lavera, in France, and plans a fourth in the
in the north of the country, said the producer
Wednesday.

The company has opened a disinfectant production
installation in its Lavera complex within 10 days
to announce capacity development plans
country, and is currently working on a unit in Etain
to supply health establishments and pharmacies
in Paris and in the northeast of France.

With a planned capacity of 1m bottles / month,
the Lavera unit is the third INEOS hand sanitizer
production unit to be built since
Coronavirus epidemic in Europe hits crisis
levels, using ethanol raw materials
produced on the site, Etain being the
Fourth.

The company has also developed an installation
Herne, Germany, complex using isopropanol
(IPA) and Newton Aycliffe, UK,
draw on the ethanol and API stocks of its
Grangemouth complex in the country, all
which were built in 10 days.

The company did not specify where the raw materials
for the establishment of Tin.

Earlier this week, Moody’s has lowered its credit
note for INEOS Group Holdings following
the pandemic.
