NBC Sports Chicago recently contacted members of the media – myself included – in addition to doing a fan survey by asking a simple question: which young bull has the highest potential? “Data-reactid =” 19 “> NBC Sports Chicago recently contacted members of the media – myself included – as well as doing a fan survey by asking a simple question: which young Bull has the highest potential?

Coby White, but it was hard not to select Lauri Markkanen. The seven feet that move well and can shoot all three like Markkanen are incredibly precious and hard to find, but last season it often seemed like a combination of lost and passive in Jim Boylen’s attack. Markkanen regressed under Boylen. “Data-reactid =” 20 “> My answer fell with the majority (media and fans) in choosing Coby White, but it was difficult not to select Lauri Markkanen. Joe Cowley reports to the Chicago Sun-Times. “Data-reactid =” 21 “> Markkanen apparently felt the same. If there are no significant changes and better use of his skills, Markkanen would be happier elsewhere, reports Joe Cowley to the Chicago Sun-Times.

The Bulls still control Markkanen’s rights. It was Markkanen’s third season with the Bulls, he is technically eligible for a contract extension this summer, but it seems unlikely. He’s more likely to play an extra year with the Bulls before switching to the restricted free agency. Or, the new basketball operations chief thinks he can swap Markkanen and grab players who match the style the team is going to play.

There are more questions than answers about what will happen in Chicago, including whether Markkanen will be part of this future.
