Last week, the IRS started deposit stimulus checks in the bank accounts of millions of American residents. And the federal government is lining up the first set of paper checks for those who are eligible for a stimulus payment, according to US Treasury Secretary Steven Mnuchin. For those who qualify for economic impact but are waiting for the IRS to send your coronavirus payment up to $ 1,200, you may have questions: When will I receive my economic stimulation check? How much money will I receive? How will I receive it? We will show you how to track your status, if possible.

We will provide step-by-step instructions on how to use the IRS online tracker, called Get My Payment. Note that some who meet the conditions of a payment difficulty tracking their payment status and enter their electronic banking information for direct deposit – we requested details from the IRS, but here are a few reasons it might not work for you. We will also tell you what happens if you receive a paper check in the mail.

As to the amount of money you should expect to receive, without making any calculations, it is not clear how much you are entitled to. Your final allowance will depend on a line in your tax form of your 2018 or 2019 taxes. You can follow our guidelines or use a calculator to find out. Just know that a little footwork is inevitable.
