Home Depot Makes Temporary Changes Due To COVID-19

The Home Depot home improvement chain claims to have made several temporary service changes due to COVID-19.

The changes include limiting the number of customers authorized in stores at a time, marking the floors and signage promoting social distancing. They also limit services and facilities to those that are essential.

Lowe implemented changes this week, such as installing Plexiglas shields at all points of sale and providing masks and gloves to all associates who wish. They also changed store opening hours, with all stores closing at 7 p.m.

Starting on Saturday, Walmart stores nationwide will also limit the number of customers authorized at the same time.
