HBO encourages fans to stay at home by broadcasting over 500 hours of movies and TV shows to watch for free, without subscription.

The premium cable network announced Thursday that, starting Friday, April 3, fans could air blockbuster shows like The Sopranos and The Wire, as well as 20 Warner Bros. movies.

There will also be a number of documentaries and documentary series available for free, including the recent McMillions series, which started in February.

The network said in a press release that “this is the first time that HBO has made this volume of programming available outside the paid wall on HBO NOW & HBO GO. “

They also encourage fans to participate in “interactive stunts” throughout the offer, following HBO on Twitter and Instagram, and using the hashtag #StayHomeBoxOffice.

Starting Friday, fans can sign up for free at HBOGo.com or HBONow.com, or by downloading the respective apps.

Fans will be able to watch the complete series of several shows, including The Sopranos, The Wire, True Blood, Veep, Six Feet Under, Silicon Valley, Barry, Ballers and Succession.

There will also be ten documentaries and documentary series, including The Apollo, The Case Against Adnan Syed, Elvis Presley: The Searcher, I Love You, Now Die: The Commonwealth v. Michelle Carter, The Inventor: Out for Blood in Silicon Valley, Jane Fonda in Five Acts, McMillion $, True Justice: Fight for Equality by Bryan Stevenson, United Skates and We Are the Dream: The Kids of the MLK Oakland Oratorical Fest.

The pay cable network also makes 20 films available for free to Warner Bros., including recent hits like The Lego Movie 2: The Second Part.

Other films available for free include the animated suite Happy Feet Two, as well as last year’s recent romantic comedy Isn’t It Romantic and Blinded By the Light.

In addition to the new versions, some of Warner Bros. ‘Catalog hits like Arthur and Arthur 2: On the Rocks, as well as Madison County Bridges and Empire of the Sun, with a revolutionary performance by 13-year-old Christian Bale.

The film offers are supplemented by Forget Paris, Midnight Special, My Dog Skip, Nancy Drew and the Hidden Staircase, Red Riding Hood, Smallfoot, Storks, Sucker Punch and Unknown.

The network has not said how long all of these movies and TV shows will be available for free, although that may end when WarnerMedia launches its HBO Max streaming service.

Although no exact date has yet been given, the streaming service is slated to launch in May 2020, with the full library of HBO, movies and more.

The streaming service will cost $ 14.99 per month and will include several original shows such as The Flight Attendant with Kaley Cuoco, a new Gossip Girl series and many more.
