The flash Star Grant Gustin was “devastated” by the tragic death of his 16-year-old co-star Logan Williams.
Williams, who played a young Barry Allen in eight episodes of the CW series, passed away suddenly on April 2.
“I just heard the devastating news that Logan Williams died suddenly,” said Gustin in Instagram caption of a photo of the two of them with co-star Jesse L. Martin.
“This image was at the start of the shooting of The flash pilot episode in 2014. I was so impressed not only by Logan’s talent but also by his professionalism on set. “
Gustin continued, “My thoughts and prayers will be with him and his family during what is, I am sure, an incredibly difficult time for them.
“Please keep Logan and his family in your thoughts and prayers during what has been a strange and trying time for all of us. Send love to everyone. “
Actress Erin Krakow, who starred alongside Williams in the Canadian-American series When the heart calls you, also paid tribute to the young actor.
“Heartbroken to learn of the death of Logan Williams who played Miles Montgomery for several seasons of @wcth_tv,” she wrote.
“Logan was a handsome, warm, silly and talented young man. He could always make us laugh. He was barely 17 and had what I am sure would have been a very bright future ahead of him. “
“I hope you will join me in sending virtual love and support to Logan’s family and friends during this very painful time. “
