Frenchman Macron will address the nation on the coronavirus crisis on Thursday: French radio

PARIS (Reuters) – French President Emmanuel Macron will speak to the nation regarding the new coronavirus situation Thursday evening, French radio Europe 1 reported on Tuesday.

Coronavirus figures in France showed on Monday that the rate of increase in deaths – now close to 9,000 – has accelerated again after several days of slowing, while the increase in the number of people requiring intensive care has continued to slow down.
