First look at Lisa Kudrow in the Netflix show with Steve Carell


friends star Lisa Kudrow joins Officeis Steve Carell for one of the most anticipated Netflix comedy series in recent memory.

Both will be featured in the streaming service’s science fiction sitcom Space force, of Office showrunner and Parks and recreation co-creator Greg Daniels.

Carell plays four-star general Mark R Naird, whose dreams of leading the Air Force are shattered when the president asks him to lead the hastily created Space Force division.

Naird is forced to rush the creation of a whole new division of the United States military to completely dominate all space.

Kudrow will place Naird’s wife Maggie, a Washington pillar whose own ambition is to take her on a separate path from her husband.

Netflix has described Space Force as “a new kind of workplace comedy,” where the stakes are literally “dizzying and the ambitions even higher.”

The cast of Space force also includes two-time Oscar nominee John Malkovich, Sonic the hedgehog star Ben Schwartz and The walking deadit’s Noah Emmerich.

Kudrow has often worked with Netflix in recent years, playing Sheree in Grace and Frankie and express the owl Wanda in an animated comedy BoJack Horseman.

Carell also ventured into the world of streaming TV playing an American television anchor in disgrace in the ultra-expensive AppleTV + series The Morning Show, who will return for a second season with Reese Witherspoon and Jennifer Aniston.

No release date for The Morning Show the second season has been set since production stopped during the global shutdown.

Space force will launch on Netflix worldwide on May 29, 2020.
