The International Meteorite Organization has received more than 450 reports of an explosion of fireballs in the sky over the German-Dutch border as a meteor plunges into the Earth’s atmosphere. The magnificent meteor was captured by the camera, courtesy of footage from on-board cameras. The video, from the American Meteor Society, shows a streak of bright light falling across the sky before an explosion as it reaches the end of its tether.
“We have already received 450 reports on this event from the Netherlands, Germany, Belgium, the United Kingdom, Luxembourg, Denmark and even France!
“The time could have been determined by the witnesses and the observations of the camera and turned out to be on April 4, 2020 at around 21:44 UT (23:44 CEST). “
One who saw the explosion, Kevin from the UK, wrote on the IMO website: “I saw shooting stars, it was completely different.
“Orange-red in color with a sparkling trail. It looked like he could have entered and out of the atmosphere.
“It shocked me because the angle seemed to hit the ground, but then disappeared. It gave me goosebumps. “
Asteroids and meteors produce a brilliant explosion of fire when they hit the atmosphere, as it is the first time that space rock has encountered resistance.
Air infiltrates the pores and cracks of the rock, separating it and causing it to explode.

NASA is currently studying the asteroid Bennu, where its OSIRIS-Rex spacecraft arrived in 2018.
Part of the reason why NASA is sending the OSIRIS-Rex spacecraft to gather more information about the 500-meter-long space rock.
NASA is concerned that the asteroid, which has the potential to wipe out a country on Earth, may touch our planet in the next 120 years, with the next close flyby in 2135.
The mission will provide vital information on how to divert asteroids from their collision course with Earth, but NASA reiterates that there is little chance that Earth will be affected, “over millions of years, all planets, Bennu is most likely to hit Venus. “
