Blues linked to midfielder Paolo Maldini called “A poet with the ball”
Everton was linked to a midfielder movement that Italian football legend Paolo Maldini described as “A poet with the ball”.
The player in question is none other than his own son, Daniel!
Calciomercato – via HITC – says the Blues are showing interest in the 18-year-old AC MIlan Academy graduate.
The third generation of the family to don the famous red and black stripes, Daniel Maldini quickly began to emerge from the long shadow of his legendary father Paolo and grandfather Cesare.
His father recently described it as follows:
“He’s a playmaker, a goalscorer, a No. 10.
“From the family, starting with my father and coming to my son, he is the only one with these attitudes. He’s no longer a poet with the ball. “
Everton manager Carlo Ancelotti is of course great friends with senior Maldini given their trophy-laden time together at AC Milan – both as teammates, then coach and player – but it seems like everything The potential move to Goodison Park will be easier said than done, however, with claims that Milan told Everton in no uncertain terms that their miracle will not go away anytime soon.
