Don’t go to the grocery store or pharmacy – deadline

It has happened – the White House now advises everyone not to go to the grocery store or pharmacy for the next two weeks.

“The next two weeks are extremely important,” White House coronavirus response coordinator Deborah Birx said at a press conference on Saturday. “Now is the time not to go to the grocery store, not to go to the pharmacy, but to do everything you can to keep your family and friends safe.”

The peak of the coronavirus is expected to occur within the next two weeks. Already, the United States has more than 312,000 confirmed cases – it is confirmed, as in tests and certifications – and an unknown number of asymptomatic people who have the virus. The United States now has more than 8,500 dead.

President Trump also warned that the worst was yet to come.

“It will probably be the hardest week – between this week and next week,” said Trump. “There will be many deaths, unfortunately … there will be deaths,” he warned.
