Disney’s new streaming service has almost doubled its subscriber base to 50 million since the start of the coronavirus epidemic in February, with foreclosure conditions a boon for streaming services.

Disney +, which launched in the UK and most major Western European markets last month, with successes like the Star Wars spin-off The Mandalorian, has registered 50 million subscribers five months only after its launch.
