Tributes were paid to a deceased nurse after she is believed to have contracted a coronavirus.

Rebecca Mack, 29, had worked in the children’s cancer unit at the Royal Newcastle Hospital before leaving for other health jobs.

Mrs. Mack, of Morpeth, Northumberland, died on Sunday.

Her friend Sarah Bredin-Kemp described her as “really, really caring” and “unique.”

‘Unique in it’s genre’

In a Facebook article, she said, “We lost our beautiful Rebecca Mack on Sunday to Covid-19.

“She was a devoted friend, an incredible nurse and a perfectly flawless person. It was one of a kind. And we will miss her wholeheartedly. “

The Newcastle NHS Foundation Health Trust said it had sent “its deepest sympathies and condolences” and added that his thoughts were with Ms. Mack’s family and friends.

It is believed that she did not deal directly with patients before she fell ill.
