Coronavirus outbreak: Ontario health official says some people still don’t follow physical distance

When asked why some people continue to be infected with COVID-19, excluding health care workers and long-term care homes despite the measures underway, the Chief Medical Officer of Health of Canada, Dr. David Williams replied that was the question they were still trying to determine an answer to. According to him, based on interviews with those who tested positive, some nevertheless decided to violate physical distance measures and reiterated why it was so important to follow the rules. Williams added that daily cases of spread to the community were roughly in the 200s, possibly 300s, and that it had to drop further before a reopening of the province could take place.
