Forestry England said in a statement, “We are sorry to disappoint fans who hoped to see bands in the country’s forests this summer, but we have canceled Forest Live 2020 to keep everyone safe in accordance with recent guidelines from government on the COVID-19 coronavirus. epidemic.
“Unfortunately, it is not possible for us to reschedule our concerts. Ticket holders will be contacted by their point of sale and will be automatically reimbursed. We ask for your patience and understanding during this busy time. “
The Kaiser Chiefs were scheduled to travel to Dalby Forest near Pickering on Friday, June 26.
Over 1.9 million people have attended a Forest Live concert in the past nineteen years.
