Conor McGregor laughed at Tony Ferguson after weighing in for his canceled fight against UFC 249.

Ferguson was originally scheduled to fight Khabib Nurmagomedov on April 18, but after the coronavirus outbreak, the Russian was replaced on the card by Justin Gaethje.

UFC President Dana White has done his best to get UFC 249 up and running as he plans to host the event on tribal land in California.

But Disney and ESPN chefs have stepped in to cancel the show, while a revised May 9 date has now been proposed.

However, that didn’t stop Ferguson from gaining weight on Friday as he stepped on the scale in a live Instagram video to prove he had reached the 155-pound mark.

And after seeing Ferguson on the scales, McGregor took a pop from his rival.

Next to a photo of Ferguson, McGregor posted on Twitter: “Hahahajaj. You will be bet [sic] to the absolute pulposus nucleus when I receive you, kid. “

For those who want to solve this problem, the “nucleus pulposus” is the inner core of the spinal disc.

Meanwhile, Ferguson says he weighed 179 pounds earlier this week and lost 24 pounds by the time he got on the scale.

“It wasn’t just for me, it was for my team, my man and my sponsors and of course for my family,” Ferguson told ESPN after the weigh-in.

“And just the commitment to myself to continue the weight reduction. For me, that says a lot more about my stock. Say you know what, “I’m going to gain weight, I’m not going to lose weight.” “I have what it takes mentally to get through this combat camp. It’s going to be great, man. It was a great experience.

“Everyone has been quarantined now, but I still live the same life. I always do my thing, which is to train and improve myself every day. My growth factor is huge right now, forgive my tongue. Literally, I feel good.

“For me to gain weight and Justin Gaethje not to gain weight, it’s a chalk line right there. It’s a chalk line against any opponent I have. Anyone who would weigh the weight of the championship today was the smart person who will compete on this card, who is still competing. “
