Late quarantined hosts Conan O’Brien and Stephen Colbert were invited to each other last night, so they decided to approach it in the most economical way: just do a big interview, then leave it to their teams to modify it as they prefer. The results? The O’Brien version is an 18-minute long clip and the Colbert version is divided into three clips. Above all, however, it’s the same thing, the hosts showing old family photos, talking about how Colbert is angry with Bob Dylan (O’Brien’s clip has Colbert lyrics “Subterranean Homesick Blues” parody of song; the legal department of Colbert would not allow for his clip), O’Brien teases Colbert for his extremely sophisticated filming configuration, and Colbert teases O’Brien for no longer dressing for his work.
“It’s so good to have you my show off, Stephen, “said O’Brien. “Thanks, Conan. Now a lesser man would fight with you right now and say “No no, you’re on my “, Answers Colbert. “But I’ve been a host long enough to know that the host does most of the work, so go on buddy.” Go ahead, host me! Decide who is hosting yourself by watching the two interview changes here.
