Canelo Alvarez is ready to end his rivalry with Gennady Golovkin by knocking him out in their third and last fight, according to the Mexican coach.
The two are expected to meet in a big-budget trilogy fight in September, provided the global coronavirus pandemic has subsided enough for the event to take place.
And Canelo, who won his second points bout in 2018 after a controversial draw the previous year, has a new game plan for Golovkin.

“If this fight comes to fruition – Canelo with Golovkin – Canelo will definitely win by knockout,” said Canelo coach Eddy Reynoso. ESPN.
“We will seek the fight as we did in the [rematch], from the start, to try to put it on the back foot, but this time things will be very different.
“This time we are going to knock him out, we promise it will happen to everyone who believes in us. “

Canelo was scheduled to face Briton Billy Joe Saunders next month, but the fight has been postponed indefinitely due to the coronavirus outbreak.
Since defeating Golovkin 18 months ago, the Mexican has won victories over Rocky Fielding, Daniel Jacobs and Sergey Kovalev.
Canelo, who has lost only one of his 56 fights, is the defending WBA middleweight champion.
