CAMERON COUNTY, Texas – According to a press release, Cameron County judge Eddie Treviño Jr. extended the existing shelter for Cameron County for another two weeks.
The shelter order must now be completed at 11:59 p.m. April 21.
Cameron County officials also recommend the use of face masks or covers when in public.
“My top priority is the safety and well-being of everyone in Cameron County and taking these precautionary measures should help in this endeavor,” said Cameron County judge Eddie Treviño, Jr.
