Call of Duty Season 3 Details: Warzone and Modern Warfare: New Maps, Battle Pass, Quads


Season 3 of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare and its fallout on the battle royale, Call of Duty: Warzone, officially starts Tuesday, April 8 on all platforms, according to a new trailer for Activision and Infinity Ward. The new season will bring quads – aka teams of four players – to Call of Duty: Warzone, as well as new skins and new weapons.

Warzone Season 3 will also include changes to the loot reserve and new modes like Scopes and Scatter Guns (sniper rifles and shotguns only), according to an article on the Activision blog. “In addition, the loot on the ground will be constantly revised to diversify the strategies you can adopt WarzoneSaid Activision. “Note, expect to see all types of weapons with a silent and non-silent variant, allowing squads to equip themselves for silent operations …”

For Modern war, season 3 will bring with it three new 6v6 multiplayer maps (Talsik Backlot, Hovec Sawmill, Aniyar Incursion), a new operator (Alex), new vehicle skins and two new weapons (the SK5 rifle, the fist Renetti 9 mm) during launch week.

Talsik Backlot is a remasterer of Call of Duty 4 Modern WarfareThe multiplayer map of Backlot and Aniyar Incursion is a condensed 6v6 version of the Aniyah Palace in Modern warLand warfare mode.

Season 3 will eventually include more new cards, such as Hardhat and the Gunfight-specific card, Aisle 9; the new operators Ronin and Iskra; and new weapons and armor customs. More details on what to expect from Season 3 and its new Battle Pass are available on the Activision blog.
