(Reuters) – Queen Elizabeth’s granddaughter, Princess Beatrice and her fiance Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi have canceled their royal wedding due to isolation in the UK amid the coronavirus pandemic, media reports said on Thursday .
Earlier in March, Princess Beatrice had cut plans for the wedding and canceled a scheduled reception to be held at Buckingham Palace in May.
“There are no plans to change locations or organize a larger wedding. They are not even thinking about their marriage yet. There will be a moment to reorganize, but it is not yet the case, “People magazine reported bit.ly/2XFticD, quoting a spokesperson for the couple.
Buckingham Palace could not be reached immediately for comment.
