Boston College Alumni Transfer Quarterback Anthony Brown Announces Oregon Ducks Engagement


Hours after Pete Thamel of Yahoo Sports announced that Boston College graduate transfer quarterback Anthony Brown was to engage in Oregon, the dynamic appellant himself confirmed the news on social networks.

Brown, a three-year beginner at Boston College, is expected to compete with sophomore Tyler Shough red T-shirt for the vacant start shift position.

“I would like to thank God for all the blessings and opportunities He has given me that have made me the man I have become today,” Brown wrote. “To my family and friends who were involved in my journey from start to finish, I thank you and I love you all.

“For my brothers at Boston College, it was an honor to be on this field with you. We have built memories and friendships that I will cherish forever and that I love and will continue to support. Finally, thank you to all the coaches who saw my potential, I am extremely grateful for the time you have invested in me. ”

“It was a long but rewarding process for which I will always be grateful. After many prayers and long conversations with my family. I would like to announce that I will be attending the University of Oregon this fall as a graduate transfer. Thank you very much to Coach (Mario) Cristobal and Coach (Joe) Moorhead for giving me a chance and especially for allowing me to be part of a culture as rich and successful as you have built. I can’t wait to get to work! ”

As a junior, the 6-foot-2, 220-pound signalman played in six games before sustaining a leg injury, but threw for 1,250 yards and nine touchdowns with two interceptions, plus 210 more yards and a score On the ground.

For his career, Brown had 4,738 passing yards, 40 touchdowns and 20 interceptions.
