The Big Show is a staple of WWE programming, always ready to pose as a roadblock for a new star or to activate a trusted babyface. However, wrestling is not the only passion of this wrestling legend, as shown in his new sitcom, The Big Show Show on Netflix. Speaking with TV Insider, Show talks about her nervousness about taking on a leading role.

I am nervous because we put a lot of heart into it. From my own personal journey, [co-stars] Allison [Munn] and the girls saw me every night to thank our live audience before and after the show. Almost after each recording, I was almost in tears thanking everyone in the seat for watching the recording. It meant a lot to me.

Just because Show is currently out of the ring doesn’t mean he doesn’t consider himself retired. In fact, after facing Drew McIntyre after WrestleMania 36, Show feels he has a lot left in the tank.

I have not yet chosen an opponent for my last match because I think it is far away. What I did was go back full-time, five nights a week, in the trenches. I’ve been doing this for 25 years. Now is the time for the guys to defend their claim and build their characters and legacies.
