Bayern Munich head coach Hansi Flick signed a new contract with the Bundesliga champions until June 2023.
The 55-year-old joined the club at the start of the season as an assistant to Niko Kovac.
However, he became interim boss when Kovac was sacked on November 3 and then got a deal until the end of the season.
He won 18 of his 21 games in the lead, earning praise from Bayern President Karl-Heinz Rummenigge.
“The club is very satisfied with the work of Hansi Flick,” said Rummenigge.
“The team has grown under his leadership and we play attractive football, which is reflected in the results. “
