Grealish’s performances for Villa this season have sparked interest from United, who are preparing to make an offer in the next transfer window.
He has been in sensational form this season with seven goals and six assists in 23 Premier League games, despite difficulties for Dean Smith’s team at the bottom of the table.
Brown urges his former team to recruit the 24-year-old as part of a move for three young British stars – the others being James Maddison of Leicester City and Jadon Sancho of Borussia Dortmund.
“I would have all three! Any of these three would be great, “Brown told MUTV.
“Jadon Sancho would likely be number one. But James Maddison looks fit and ready and determined and would also be a great asset to the club.
“Jack Grealish is an individual who gets things done, takes control of the game and has his own style. I think any of these three would be perfect.
“If it were to happen and Ole [Gunnar Solskjaer] could tinker around a bit and see where they all stand in this midfield, I think we would be a force to be reckoned with. ”
