Asda has changed the availability of its delivery slots – and buyers will be delighted

British supermarket giant Asda has added hundreds of thousands of delivery slots to its online shopping site, it was confirmed.

The supermarket was in full capacity online because shoppers were struggling to secure themselves very much, leaving many of them unable to order essential items from their homes.

But now it has been confirmed that the supermarket has added an additional 400,000 locations to its website – a move that should ease the pressure on the most vulnerable and those who cannot leave their homes due to the coronavirus.

This means that a total of 700,000 spaces will now be vacated – more than double the 300,000 available just two weeks ago.

The supermarket says it now has 5,000 additional pickers, drivers and store workers to keep the shelves filled for buyers and those who order from home during the close time.

You can find an up-to-date list of Asda’s opening and closing hours, as well as article rules and restrictions for buyers here.
