Los Angeles Lakers all-star forward Anthony Davis sells his nearly $ 8 million Westlake Village mansion, according to the Los Angeles Daily News.
Davis, 27, had a fantastic first season with the Lakers in 2019-20, and if the hiatus forced by the NBA coronavirus proved difficult to resume the campaign, the former Kentucky Wildcat could have played his last game for LA when he will be a free agent after the season.
Although Davis is expected to sign again with the purple and gold franchise, it is the NBA where anything could happen, especially in free agency given the ever-changing winds and conversations between renowned stars. Davis arrived last summer from his longtime New Orleans pelicans in a Hollywood blockbuster who saw star striker All Brandon Ingram, third-year point guard Lonzo Ball and marksman swingman Josh Hart treated the pelicans with first four. all-caliber NBA round pickaxes.
Losing Davis after last summer’s massive trade just after one season and potentially no playoffs would be a ruinous chapter for the Lakers, but “The Brow” listing his mansion in the housing market is not certain that he leaves the Lakers in free agency.
Davis led the Lakers by scoring in the 2019-2020 season – a first for a LeBron James team – with an average of 26.7 points, 9.4 rebounds, 3.1 assists, 1.5 interceptions and 2 , 4 blocks per game in 55 appearances, drawing 51.1% from the field, 33.5% from the city center and 84.5% from the free throw line.
The Daily News reports that the Westlake Village home is 15,815 square feet and includes five bedrooms, an indoor basketball court, an infinity pool, a spa, and spans more than two acres.
