An elderly woman who went around the world for her hilarious sign received an epic gift.
Olive Veronesi, 93, was locked inside recently at his home in Seminole, Pennsylvania, where residents have been asked to stay at home to help stop the spread of the coronavirus.
But all this time spent at home has led to a sad situation: she is short of beer.
To remedy the situation, Olive grabbed her miniature whiteboard and scribbled a message in the hope that someone could help her.
“I NEED MORE BEER !! His message was read.
An Olive relative then took a funny photo of her smiling with the sign, holding a can of Coors Light beer.
After the image began to make its way onto social media, the word even reached the brewery.
Coors Light decided to give Ms. Veronesi a few cases, containing 150 cans of beer, which should do her a while.
She didn’t move when Coors’ delivery arrived and pushed a cold one out onto her porch.
Speaking to KDKA-TV, Olive said: “I was on my last 12 cans, I have a beer every night, you know what, beer contains vitamins, it’s good for you, as long as you don’t overdo it. ”
Mark Linder of Molson Coors said about the delivery: “My partner and I put 10 cases of beer, drove and made sure Olive had her beer so she could continue her diet healthy Coors Light daily. “
The 93-year-old woman said she is trying to do the responsible thing by staying at home and is overwhelmed by the response to her naughty photo.
KDKA-TV jumped in to visit the 93-year-old man, and also shared her photo on her Facebook page, where she accumulated 45,000 shares and 24,000 likes.
It is comforting to know that Olive will have enough beer to last her for almost six months if she sticks to her “one per night” rule.
